The FB IDEAs Incubator and Innovation Hub offers a landing pad for ambitious ideas and an open invitation to collaborate for anyone working at the intersection of sustainability, technology or design.
Located within walking distance of the future Fishermans Bend Innovation Precinct, the Hub is more than just a co-working space — it’s a community where the future is being actively built. It is home to a diverse mix of emerging businesses, innovative projects and aligned community groups.

Join the Hub Community
We offer free* / affordable access to a hotdesk, meeting room, or small team space as your starting point in Fishermans Bend. The aim is to provide a launchpad for businesses as they test ideas and a flexible stepping stone as they build momentum and transition to more permanent premises in the precinct.
* Subsidies of up to 100% are available for the first 3 months, for startups and projects that align with one or more of FB IDEAs Goals:
To promote a collaborative precinct culture in Fishermans Bend and deliver activations and events that contribute to network building
To support startups, scaleups and creative industries in Fishermans Bend, particularly those in the advanced manufacturing, engineering and design sectors
To demonstrate and support ways of utilising existing buildings and sites while the precinct is in transition
You’ll find all the key information below, then once you are ready submit your application via the online application form link below. We process applications on an ongoing basis. In normal circumstances, we will get back to you within 2 weeks of lodging your application.

More Information
Where is the Hub located?
We are located on Level 1, within the Citiport building on the corner of Lorimer and Salmon Streets (650 Lorimer Street Port Melbourne).
How to get there?
There is limited street parking nearby
The 235 and 237 bus routes connect regularly to Southern Cross Station. Weekday services on both routes run every 8 mins during peak hours and every 10 mins until 9pm (then every 20-minutes until midnight).
A dedicated cycleway along Turner St (300m away) connects to the City via Docklands
The Westgate Punt also connects Fishermans Bend to the Western suburbs and runs regularly between the Spotswood Jetty (near Scienceworks) and Westgate Landing just near the last stop of the 237 bus route on Lorimer Street. It takes bicycles and pedestrians.
What is the space?
The FB IDEAs Hub is open plan office space with 50 desks and 4 dedicated meeting rooms.
We offer three levels of access:
Casual/ Hot Desking
Permanent Desks
Team Spaces (Dedicated space for 2 or more people to work together regularly)
Pricing
Community Member - FREE, inludes listing on website and invitation to key events.
Casual / Hotdesk access - $25 a day or $100 month, plus GST (up to 5 days per month)
Permanent Desk - $300 a month, plus GST
Team Spaces - from $500 a month, plus GST, for 2 or more desks, and/or designated desk plus space in the Lockable Room (subject to the number of permanent desks and/or space required).
Subsidies of up to 100% are available for the first 3 months, for startups and projects that align with one or more of FB IDEAs Goals. After three months a 30% subsidy is available for ongoing members.

What is not included?
FB IDEAs does not provide parking (parking can be leased directly from building management)
Things you should know
Access is provided on a month to month basis
The FB IDEAs team are on site regularly but the FB IDEAs hub is not permanently staffed
The FB IDEAs hub is monitored by CCTV at all times
FB IDEAs is unable to provide a mail service
