UpSol’s Major Breakthrough in Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage
We are proud to report on the developments that have taken place for our Hub member UpSol, who joined the FB IDEAs network in early 2025. While Upsol was still developing their technological and commercial solutions, founder Victor Nguyen presented about social entrepreneurship from a pre-customer and pre-revenue perspective at his lunch & learn session in September 2025. Since then, challenges and successes have shaped UpSol’s business model, strengthened partnerships and positioned them to scale in 2026.
UpSol has achieved a major breakthrough in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market, delivering grid‑integrated energy storage solutions in Australia:
Awarded multiple contracts for on‑grid commercial energy storage deployments.
Secured DNSP grid‑connection approvals for integrated battery systems.
Generated commercial revenue through the deployment of energy storage systems.
What is UpSol’s product?
UpSol delivers a fully integrated, turn‑key C&I energy storage solution, combining engineering, procurement, installation and EMS‑enabled energy trading. This model delivers exceptional financial and environmental outcomes for clients while strengthening UpSol’s pathway to long‑term commercial and sustainability impact.
What comes next for UpSol?
UpSol is scaling its impact through team expansion, strengthened partnerships and a growing pipeline of larger commercial projects. The Seed Round, launched in January 2026, lays the foundation for expanding access to energy storage across a wide range of applications - from agricultural production (fertilisers, bio-char), rural telecommunications infrastructure to stand-alone power systems.
