Join Westgate Biodiversity and the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) Community Macnamara for a Sunday morning of volunteering, followed by a delicious sausage sizzle!
The weather is looking to be great - after the event had to be postponed in October due to wet weather. So take the chance to get outdoors, get active, and connect with the local community and environment.
Westgate Biodiversity plays a vital role in preserving and enhancing the natural environment within the Sandbelt region. By cultivating and planting locally indigenous species, the organisation not only restores natural habitats but also educates the community on the critical importance of urban biodiversity and sustainable ecosystems.
On Saturday 22 November, volunteers will meet at the Westgate Park Picnic Ground to get their hands dirty and care for the local habitat. This will be followed by a fundraising sausage sizzle!
Any proceeds will go to the event costs and surplus goes to future volunteer days.
