Precious Plastic - School Holidays Workshop

  • Fishermans Bend Circular Design Collective Munro Street (between Montague and Johnson Streets) South Melbourne, VIC, 3205 Australia (map)

Join Precious Plastic Melbourne for some school holiday fun and learn how to become a changemaker in the fight against plastic waste.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will engage with Precious Plastic’s innovative micro-recycling equipment, gaining a practical understanding of plastics recycling while creating their own recycled item to take home.

Alongside making, the session explores the broader issues of plastic waste, sustainability, and circular economy principles—encouraging discussion and action beyond the workshop. All school-aged children are welcome and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cost: $20 per child for 2 hour program with all materials provided. Free subsidised places are available for whom live in social housing or have a healthcare card. Select the FREE ticket option and/or email info@fbideas.org if you are unsure if you are eligible for a subsidised place.
