Join our punch needle tufting workshop, at Romulus Folio Gallery in South Melbourne.


Your teacher Arabella will guide you through the basics of punch needling using both yarns and fabric to create small artworks on embroidery hoops. Feel encouraged to tap into your creative instincts, guided by Arabella’s distinctive textile-based artistic practices.

You will:

  • Learn how to use the punch needles to create textured designs

  • Discover the basics of different stitches and selecting the right needle and yarn to create your artwork

  • Tap into your creative instincts through colour and texture exploration to create a unique piece.


By the end of the class, you can take home your completed artwork on an embroidery hoop frame.
