‘Tides and Transformation’
responds to the unique character and layered history of Fishermans Bend — a landscape shaped by industry, erosion, and renewal.
Join us to celebrate the launch of ‘Tides and Transformation’, featuring works by Angelina Mirabito and Samuel Galloway, alongside contributions from other local artists connected to the area. Exploring themes of repurposing, transformation, and environment, the exhibition has been inspired and created during the artist residency at The Gladstone in Fishermans Bend. Responding to the unique character and layered history of Fishermans Bend — a landscape shaped by industry, erosion, and renewal.
Featuring sculpture, installation, and mixed media by Angelina Mirabito, the exhibition showcases experimentation and works that transform industrial waste into art. A video piece by Sam Galloway documenting place, art and transformation at Fishermen’s Bend will also accompany the exhibition.
Rooted in place and process, this exhibition reflects how materials and spaces can be reimagined, revealing the quiet strength of adaptation and the beauty of change.
