What if the energy we use to create art, the joy we feel while celebrating, and the power of our movement could fuel a party?

Power Move is an innovative fusion of technology, sustainability, and live performance that seeks to transform human movement into energy.

As one of our Innovators in Residence at the Fishermans Bend Circular Design Collective, this project will test and develop a kinetic energy dancefloor using piezoelectric tiles, demonstrating how human movement can generate clean energy.

After the initial research and development phase, QuietRIOT and Additive Lighting will work with local engineers to design, test and integrate kinetic energy tile products into a prototype that can be trialled and showcased in Fishermans Bend, providing a real-world demonstration before its inclusion in a major activation in a high profile public space later this year.

The project also aims to document and share research findings with sustainability stakeholders in Fishermans Bend, and other key stakeholders in the arts and events sectors with the goal of future implementation in public spaces and event infrastructure.
